Yes, the Neotech Chinstrap can be cut to size for each baby.

The Neotech Chinstrap was developed with a proprietary material called NeoFoam(TM), that while soft, is flexible enough that if the baby wants to open their mouth they can. It simply provides gentle support during CPAP in helping to keep a lot of air from escaping from the baby’s mouth.

The Neotech Chinstrap is to be used as a soft, gentle, yet effective way to keep the baby’s mouth less likely to open during the delivery of CPAP.

The NeoShades with Headstrap use NeoFoam(TM), a special soft foam material that resists head molding and slipping on the head or hair. The NeoShades with Headstrap stay on exceptionally well. Of course, with any baby (especially an active one) there may be movement that forces for readjustment of the phototherapy shades, but this may occur less often with NeoShades.

Currently the Little Sucker Cover fits the Standard and Preemie Size Nasal Tip Little Sucker (N204, N205). We do not yet have a Little Sucker Cover for our nasal aspirators as of yet, but may in the future.

The Suction Caddy may be cleaned with soap and water or saline and water. It should be changed completely after 5-7 days.

On average the NeoLead electrodes last 5-7 days. We have had reports with them lasting as long as 11 days. We do recommend assessing the skin after 7 days.

The NeoBar is based by the face size more than by baby’s weight. Neotech has created color coded measuring tapes to simplify choosing the right size. The colors on the measuring tape correspond with the colors of the NeoBar. Hold the measuring tape to the face at the midline septum (the arrow should be midline), bring the tape back to the tragus (bone on the ear) and the color that the tape ends on is the color NeoBar you select. If the tape borders between two colors always use the larger NeoBar.

You may store the Little Sucker in the Suction Caddy or the Little Sucker Cover. If you are using the Suction Caddy, you can disconnect your suction tubing and connect it to the Suction Caddy. This will help to reduce noise.
