Website orders restricted to U.S. customers. Neotech’s SoftSil Silicone Adhesive Patch works as a skin barrier or guard. The flexible, medical grade, non-woven fabric is recommended for use on elbows, knees, and other sensitive skin areas prone to friction. SoftSil is ideal for fragile neonatal skin and can be cut to size. You can safely reposition it as needed with minimal risk to delicate skin or the adhesion surface. SoftSil is not made with natural rubber latex or plasticizer DEHP.
Directions for Use
Step 1 Clean and dry skin per hospital protocol.
Note: It is important for skin to be as clean and dry as possible. SoftSil will not adhere properly to moist skin or hair. Oils and lotions will also adversely affect adhesion.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL.
Step 2 Remove from liner and apply to skin. Reposition as needed.
Note: Can be cut to size.
Step 3 Replace SoftSil every 2 days or per hospital protocol, whichever is sooner.
Replace immediately if visibly soiled.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
SoftSil Silicone Adhesive Patch is intended for general use as a medical adhesive.
CAUTIONS & WARNINGS
Do not use to secure life-sustaining devices.
Discontinue immediately if skin irritation occurs.
SoftSil will not adhere properly to moist skin or hair. Oils and lotions will also adversely affect adhesion.
Do not use alcohol to clean skin prior to application.
Single patient use only.
