Step 1 Select the proper size by measuring from the center of the chin, along the ear, across the crown of the head, along the other ear, and back to the center of the chin.

N784 Nano: fits head circumference 22-27 cm
N785 Micro: fits head circumference 28-35 cm
N786 Small: fits head circumference 33-42 cm
N787 Large: fits head circumference 36-46 cm
N788 X-Large: fits head circumference 38-53 cm
N789 Macro: fits head circumference 39-58 cm
N790 Jumbo: fits head circumference 40-66 cm

Step 2 Position the Neotech ChinStrap on the chin with the thinner portion across the front of the chin and the wider portion under the chin.

Note: Only the white side of the strap should be placed against the skin

Step 3 Gently pull strap toward posterior crown of head with ears positioned inside ear openings and then fasten hook tab to strap. Side marked “LEFT” should be under patient’s left ear.

Note: May be trimmed for proper fit. Ensure that strap is not too tight or pressing on ears. Hook tab should completely overlap strap.

Step 4 Replace every 5 days or per hospital protocol, whichever is sooner.

Replace immediately if worn or visibly soiled.

INDICATIONS FOR USE
The Neotech ChinStrap is intended to keep a patient’s mouth closed during respiratory therapy. It is intended for use on pediatric (neonates, infants and children) patients.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
The Neotech ChinStrap is not intended for use on adults.

Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.

Neotech ChinStrap should only be used while patient is under continuous direct supervision of healthcare professionals. ChinStrap can pose a potential strangulation hazard.

Discontinue immediately if skin irritation occurs.

Single patient use only.
