Website orders restricted to U.S.A. Our NeoSmile Hydrogel offers a temp probe cover that can be repositioned. NeoSmile Hydrogel holds the probe in place for reliable readings. The probe cover features reflective foil and a foam insulation layer to help protect the probe from ambient or radiant heat in an incubator. Its cute smiley face design makes NeoSmile ideal for neonatal use. NeoSmile is NOT made with natural rubber latex or plasticizer DEHP and each one is individually packaged in a foil-lined pouch.
Directions for Use
Preparation
Clean and dry skin per hospital protocol.
Note: It is important for skin to be as clean and dry as possible. NeoSmile will not adhere properly to moist skin or hair. Oils and lotions will also adversely affect adhesion.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL.
Application
Step 1 Peel and discard liner. Place NeoSmile Hydrogel over probe and skin.
Step 2 Reposition NeoSmile Hydrogel as needed.
Note: If adhesive is no longer tacky add a drop of water (not saline) to hydrogel and reapply.
Removal
Step 1 Replace NeoSmile Hydrogel every 3 days or per hospital protocol, whichever is sooner.
Step 2 Gently lift edge of NeoSmile and peel back slowly. Water or saline may be applied to the edge to loosen the adhesive bond.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
The NeoSmile is intended to cover and secure a temperature probe.
CAUTIONS & WARNINGS
Discontinue immediately if skin irritation occurs.
